The Israel Cabinet heard today a series of proposals from Premier David Ben Gurion for the relaxation of military administration in Northern Galilee. The proposals were based on a report of security conditions in the area prepared by Minister Pinchas Lavon.
In effect, these proposals would provide considerable relief from military administration for the local population and would eliminate current restrictions on travel in the area. The Cabinet is expected to act on the proposals within the next few weeks.
