Three Jewish youths who were sentenced to several years imprisonment, last month by a Polish court martial for leaving their units last year because of anti-Jewish discrimination, were today released from the British military prison at Fort Darland.
Their release followed approval by the Polish military authorities of an appeal by their counsel that execution of their sentences be deferred until after they have returned to Poland. The three, David Glyecustion, Abran Monk and Shimon Getrouthendler, have been returned to their units in Scotland pending demobilization.
