Religious Freedom to Be Stressed As World’s Fair Reopens Saturday

Elaborate inaugural ceremonies Saturday at the Temple of Religion at the New York World’s Fair 1940 will stress peace and freedom. Representatives of the Catholic, Protestant and Jewish faiths will participate in the opening day ceremony at the Temple of Religion. More than 2,000 guests will attend at the invitation of President William Church Osborn and the board of directors of the Temple of Religion, Inc. Osborn issued a statement stressing the importance of religious freedom.
