The remains of a temple dating back to the sixth century before the opening of the Christian era have been found in archeological diggings near Arab, in the middle of the Negev Desert, not far from the Dead Sea, it was announced today. The excavations there have been under way for several years. Also discovered by this archeological expedition were messages in Hebrew, most of them dealing with orders for the distribution of goods stored in a warehouse near an ancient citadel on the site, which constituted a frontier outpost.
