The remains of Moses W. Beckelman, JDC director general for overseas operations who died in New York last Saturday, were buried here today in a private ceremony at Har Zion Cemetery.
Members of Mr. Beckelman’s family continued today to receive messages of condolence from Jewish organizations in all parts of the world. Sympathy to the widow was expressed by Philip M. Klutznick and Maurice Bisgyer, president and secretary of B’nai B’rith, respectively; by Ben Touster, president of United Hias Service; Israel Bom Organization; World Jewish Congress; Jewish Scientific Institute–“Yivo”; Otzar Hatorah and many others.
