The repatriation of Tripolitanian Jewish refugees now in Tunisia is being carried out by local authorities in cooperation with the Hias-Ica Emigration Association, it was announced here today by the headquarters of the Association here.
A cable received by the Hias-Ica office in New York from Dr. James Bernstein, its European director, states: “We are now assisting in the repatriation of Tripolitanian Jewish refugees in Tunisia. In this connection we have sent the Hias-Ica representatives in Algiers to Tunisia in order to cooperate with the local government there.”
