The Israel Aliyah Center reported today that 143 Americans and Canadians had left for Israel during the month of January on programs sponsored by the center.
Rabbi Mordecai Kirshblum, chairman of the center, reported that it had received an urgent request to provide 54 medical specialists, technologists and auxiliary personnel to fill positions in the Ministry of Health and in Israeli hospitals.
