Jews in the Free City of Danzig will be required by the Nazi Government there to pay a share of the 1,000,000,000 mark ($400,000,000) fine levied on German Jews for the murder in Paris of a German diplomat, it was reported here today. It was said that even Polish firms having a Jewish representative in Danzig would be required to contribute to the fine under the form of making advance payments of 1939 taxes. These reports sprang from the action of Danzig authorities in ordering all Danzig and Polish Jewish business men to submit details of property owned in Danzig or-elsewhere.
