A report from Berlin states that the German Jewish press is discussing this week the announcement that the daughter of Jacob Wassermann, well known German Jewish novelist, has deserted Judaism to embrace Christianity.
The “C. V. Zeitung.” organ of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, writing on the subject states that Herr Wassermann can not be held responsible for his daughter’s action, the report states.
