Nationalist newspapers reported today that 75 Jewish families in the township of Sieradz had been compelled to leave because they were without food.
The anti-Semitic papers revealed that while 28 Jewish shops in the town had been forced to close, 42 Polish stores were opened. Ten artisan shops operated by Jews were also liquidated, the papers reported, and were replaced by eleven run by Poles.
