The Hebrew daily, Doar Hayom, reported today that Ragheb Boy Nashashibi, former mayor of Jerusalem and influential Arab leader, had resigned from the Arab Supreme Council and from the Arab Strike Committee directing the general strike against the Jews and the Government.
