A report received by Rumanian Jewish circles here last July stating that Michael Landau, a former deputy in the Rumanian parliament and one-time editor and publisher of the Kishinev Yiddish daily “Unzer Zeit,” had been sentenced to five years imprisonment in Bucharest for alleged collaboration with the Antonescu Government, was without foundation, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency established today.
Dr. Landau, the JTA learns, has been living for the last nine years in Palestine.
