The Jewish actor, Jacob Kalich and his actress wife, Molly Picon, are “very much alive” despite recent reports of their death. They are playing at the local theatres this week. Last week they were at Jassy.
The rumor of their death is believed to be a “malicious invention of one of their rivals in an effort to harm the couple”. Both Kalich and Picon were identified with the Yiddish stage in New York before coming here.
