The Dominican Republic Settlement Association issued today a printed record of its meeting at the Town Hall Club on Feb.15 at which reports were read on the launching of the refugee settlement project.
At this meeting, Robert Pell, of the State Department, said that James N. Rosenberg and his associates, “in undertaking this project, are assured of the collaboration of the State Department, and its support in every possible and practicable manner.”
Complete text of the agreement between the Dominican Republic and the Association setting forth the liberal conditions under which more than 500 refugees families will be settled, is printed in the pamphlet.
