Al Liwaa, Arabic daily, reported today that serious efforts were under way in influential Arab circles in Baghdad, Jerusalem and Cairo for conclusion of political and economic treaties among Arab countries.
The paper said the British Government was considering making Haifa, Palestinian Mediterranean harbor, a free port for Iraq and to build a Haifa-Baghdad railway.
