A reign of terror against Jews being conducted by White Russian groups is being fanned by publication in two White Russian papers, the Harbinskoye Vremya and the Nash Put, of featured articles accusing the Jewish people of various crimes.
The Nash Put features on its front page a telegram from Afghanistan purporting to reveal that Jews killed a Muslim child for ritual purposes.
Jews are attacked daily on the streets, but no one dares complain for fear of imprisonment by the gendarmerie in cellars, where they are reported kept indefinitely and tortured. The attacks are conducted without interference by the police.
