The Executive in Geneva for the World Jewish Congress was reported today to have agreed to postpone the opening session of the congress from August 8 to August 26 if technical arrangements permit.
The decision was made on the request of the Polish committee for the world congress, which had asked the stay to make possible election of the 60 Polish delegates. The originally-scheduled elections were delayed.
