Little credence was placed here today in reports from Ottawa of an investigation into the possibilities of colonizing 80,000 refugees from Greater Germany as farmers in northern Alberta. In an interview with the Canadian Press at Edmonton Alberta, Keith H. Williams, a British financier, had said that his investigation was conducted on behalf of a group of British newspaper peers. Sources close to Lord Beaverbrook and Lord Rothermere, leading British publishers, denied knowledge of the investigation.
