Representatives from Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat’s Fatah group and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine met in Amman on Tuesday in a bid to unify the Palestinian stance for the final-status negotiations with Israel. The meeting with the Popular Front, which opposes the Oslo accords, came days before a senior official with the group was slated to return to the self-rule areas.
