The Kensington Borough Council, in London, refused today to withdraw permission to fascist leader Oswald Mosley to hold a meeting in Kensington Town Hall next Monday despite protests from the Yellow Star anti-fascist movement.

Yellow Star officials said they would sponsor a silent demonstration around the town hall to be followed by an opposition meeting at the nearest available site. Kensington officials said it was the borough council’s policy to grant use of the hall for meetings, regardless of views expressed at such meetings, as long as they remained “within the law.”
