Foundations for the research that led to discovery at Harvard of a mass production method for anti-typhus vaccine were laid at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem but could not be followed through to a successful conclusion because of lack of funds, it was disclosed last night by Dr. Israel J. Kligler, of the Mt. Scopus institution’s science faculty. Dr. Kligler spoke at the dinner to Dr. Chaim Weizmann and Salmann Schocken by the American Friends of the Hebrew University.
