In announcin# that the concession for the Amman baths had been given to Soliman Nassif in 1927 for thirty-one years, the Arab paper, “Meraat Al Shark,” expresses pleasure that “no public competition had been announced otherwise the concession would have fallen into the hands of Jews.”
The concession to Nassif was given by the Transjordan government and subsequently approved by the Palestine government, according to the “Meraat Al Shark.”
