A review of the cases of Polish Jewish women whose husbands are citizens or residents of the United States but whose application for visas were rejected, has been undertaken by a consular commission which arrived here.
It was stated that the review will concern itself mainly with those applicants whose rejection was based on their “failure” to pass the intelligence tests to which they were subjected. The tests, which included such questions as “How long is a stick?” “How many feathers has a goose?” aroused objection in the United States.
