Resolutions calling for easy naturalization and right of asylum in the United States, and opposing “reactionary” bills in Congress to restrict immigration and deportations that break up families were adopted yesterday by 355 delegates of 222 organizations attending a conference of the American Committee for the Protection of the Foreign Born at the Hotel Pennsylvania.

Rep. Emanuel Celler, one of the speakers, warned of new bills in the present Congress, which would impose restrictions on foreigners. James Waterman Wise was elected chairman.
