Drs. Jacob Weinshal and Wolfgang von Weisel, Palestinian Revisionist leaders, were received by High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope on Friday afternoon. In an hour’s conversation with the High Commissioner they told him of Revisionist aims in Palestine and formally announced the beginning of the petition movement here.
The world Revisionist organization is circulating world-wide petitions protesting the anti-Jewish policy of the Palestine government as regards immigration. The petitions will be submitted to the League of Nations.
The High Commissioner also received the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haji Amin Effendi Husseini, implacable foe of Zionism, who has just returned from a trip to India by way of Port Said.
