Israel is menaced by threats of Communist expansion, Moshe Gold, world chairman of the Zionist Revisionist Youth movement, said at Nathanya last night, opening the first Revisionist Youth congress to be held in this country. He denounced the depressing effects of the austerity regime in Israel and pledged that the Revisionist movement would again hoist the flag of freedom and free thought.
Eighty delegates from 21 countries are attending the sessions which are expected to last about three days. Memorial services were held for Vladimir Jabotinsky, founder of the movement, and for Revisionists and Herut Party members who died in the liberation war or at the hands of the Nazis.
