Participation in the April, 1935, elections for the enlarged American Jewish Congress was pledged in a resolution adopted yesterday by the first annual New York City Revisionist Conference at 122 Second avenue.
The two-day convention closed with a banquet last night at which Elias Ginsburg, chairman of the central executive committee, of the Revisionist Party, and Isaac Allen, chairman of the League for Jewish National Labor in Palestine, were to be the chief speakers.
Persecution of Zionists in Soviet Russia was scored in a resolution adopted during the day. Another resolution demanded the “unconditional release” of Aba Achimei##, imprisoned Palestinian Revisionist leader, and his friends.
The conference decided to undertake a city-wide drive for 5,000 new members and a campaign for Jewish national labor in Palestine.
