A Zionist meeting here last night addressed by Dr. Isaac Gruenbaum, Polish Zionist leader, aroused such strong resentment on the part of Revisionists present that police intervention was required several times in order to subdue the turmoil which ensued.
Dr. Gruenbaum attacked the Revisionists whereupon the Revisionists present sought to break up the meeting and a fight followed.
Uri Zvi Greenberg, Hebrew poet and Revisionist leader of Palestine, who was present was also mishandled when he rushed to the platform and demanded the right to reply to Dr. Gruenbaum.
Rabbi Alexander Burnstein of Harrisburg. Pa., has accepted the call to lead the Beth-El congregation of Long Beach during the coming year.
