“A Wall In Jerusalem,” an hour long excerpt of the French documentary of the same name, with an English narration by Richard Burton-will be presented as a special CDS News Religious Broadcast for the Passover season. The broadcast will be presented on the CBS Television Network on Sunday. March 26, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., EST. This will be the American broadcast premiere of the film, a montage of extremely rare footage of historical moments in the twentieth century evolution of Israel from idea to reality.
The broadcast will trace the struggle of the Jewish people to build a nation while faced with the hardships of anti-Semitism, genocide, Arab hostility and international politicking. It culminates with the realization of the long dream of the homeland in 1948. “A Wall In Jerusalem” was produced in France by Parafrance and distributed in this country by Eyr Programs, N.Y.
