The principle that the Polish government ought to grant subsidies to the existing Hebrew and Yiddish schools in Poland was conceded by Polish Minister of Education Dobrucki in a speech in the Diet during the discussion on the budget.

The Hebrew and Yiddish schools should enjoy equal rights with the other schools, he said. One condition however, must be made by the government and that is, the curriculum of these schools must correspond with the curriculum of the government schools.
