Right-wing Israeli lawmakers said they will introduce legislation to soften a landmark Supreme Court ruling that bars the use of physical force in interrogations carried out by the Shin Bet domestic security service. Critics of the court’s decision, which was handed down Monday, have said the restrictions make it difficult for the security service to prevent terror attacks against Israeli targets.
