The City Council today unanimously approved a proposal suggested by the Jewish press here to name a street after Sholem Aleichem. in connection with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous Jewish author. The proposal was presented to the Council by its member Dr. Isaac Izekson, a Socialists.
