Riot squads were called out in Danzig to suppress street fights between citizens and Nazi troops who were picketing Jewish stores to dissuade customers from entering, it was reported here today.

Persons leaving Jewish-owned stores were taunted with the cry of “Jew Serf” the reports said, and resentment over the taunts led to the scuffles.
