Funeral services were held yesterday at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism for Jacob H. Rubin, who died Tuesday in Mount Sinai Hospital.
Mr. Rubin, who was 66 years old, was a leading figure in the clothing industry and in philanthropic organizations. He was one of the founders of the Jewish Education Association and at his death was honorary president of the Central Jewish Institute. He also helped found the Society for the Advancement of Judaism and for many years was its honorary president. At one time, Mr. Rubin was president of the Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun.
He is survived by a widow, a son, three daughters, six brothers and a sister.
