Appointment of Robert Lurie as director of B’nai B’rith war service activities, was announced here today by Henry Monsky, president of B’nai B’rith and chairman of its national war service committee.
Lurie was transferred to this new position from New York where for two years he was coordinator of B’nai B’rith activities in the Metropolitan area, serving under the Supreme Lodge, and executive secretary of the B’nai B’rith Council, representing 34 New York City lodges.
