Gifts from John D. Rockefeller, jr., the Altman Foundation and Edward S. Harkness, totaling $110,000, were announced yesterday by the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. Mr. Rockefeller and the Foundation made gifts of $50,000 each and Mr. Harkness contributed $10,000.
The Federation has opened the final month’s drive in its campaign to raise $2,221,000 to complete the 1930 budget of its ninety-one affiliated institutions.
