Rockefeller Foundation Gives $500,000 for Near East Program

The Rockefeller Foundation has granted $500,000 to Princeton University’s program in Near Eastern studies for research, teacher training and interdepartmental study, Dr. Harold W. Dodds, president of the university, announced this week-end. The two main objectives of the program are the training of men for government service or business positions in the Near East and the training of teachers.
