Three ten-pound rocks were hurled through the stained glass windows of a synagogue in Peterborough, Ontario, the Canadian Jewish Congress reported this week-end. Rabbi A. M. Babb, spiritual leader of the Peterborough congregation, estimated the damage at $200, but expressed doubt that it was the work of an anti-Semitic organization. He said it was “probably” an act of vandalism by “youngsters who had too much to drink.”
