American Nazi Party leader George Rockwell, though barred from admission to Canada, outwitted border officials by slipping through Windsor, Ontario, disguised as a “bearded rabbi,” it was reported in the Canadian press today. He flew there to Vancouver for a scheduled talk to University of British Columbia students. However, the talk was an deled by UBC president Dr. John MacDonald.
The students had agreed to pay Rockwell $350 for his appearance provided he entered the country legally. Their version was that the deal had been called off since he was admitted under false pretences. Rockwell left a few hours later re-crossing into the U.S.A. at Douglas, B. C. This is the second occasion within the last month that Rockwell has entered Canada despite the order barring him.
