Further sections of the new national labor draft law, made public today, do not indicate the part to be played by Jews in the draft. Today’s new administrative order applies to all Reichsangehoerige (wards of the State), but does not especially mention Jews. The terms, however, indirectly strengthen the belief that Jews who receive unemployment insurance will be among the first conscripts. It is pointed out that the law guarantees to the drafted worker income equalling their private income, and thus the unemployed will be drafted first for reasons of economy.
