Romanian soccer officials are investigating charges that the head of the country’s soccer federation published anti-Semitic articles in his tabloid. Dumitru Dragomir is alleged to have published anonymous articles blaming Romania’s ills on a Jewish conspiracy. Dragomir denied the charges Wednesday, saying, “I’m not linked to any anti-Semitic groups for the simple reason that there are no such groups in Romania.”
