Chief Rabbi Elio Toaff and Rome Community president Odo Cagli expressed today the gratitude of the Jewish community for the understanding and support displayed by the Italian press after a neo-fascist attack on the community last week.
“The Jewish community was deeply moved by the kind and noble expressions used by the Italian press during the recent ignoble incidents and expresses its deepest gratitude,” the message read.
