Room Tax will be imposed shortly on every night spent at Jerusalem’s hotels, the Ministerial Tourism Committee has decided. The tax will be up to a maximum of $1.00 per night at a five star hotel, to be imposed on both Israelis and tourists. The income will go for improvement of the tourism infrastructure in Jerusalem.
