An exhibition of paintings by James N. Rosenberg, a prominent Jewish attorney and artist who has been active for many years in the work of the United Jewish Appeal and the Joint Distribution Committee, will be opened here tomorrow for a two-week period. Proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the construction of a new building of the Central Synagogue Community House, to be named for the late Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, a long-time friend of Mr. Rosenberg.
Included in the exhibit for sale will be 30 paintings contributed by the artist. An additional 12 paintings by Mr. Rosenberg, on loan from private collections, will be displayed.
