Dr. Honry N. Rosenthal, for the past ten years educational director of the 92nd Street Y.M.H.A. in New York City, has been appointed director of the new B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation to be opened this fall in the Sara Delano Roosevelt Inter-Faith House, the former town residence of President Roosevelt and his late mother, it was announced here today by Henry Monsky, president of B’nai B’rith.
Mr. Monsky is one of the three co-chairmen of an inter-denominational citizens’ committee that acquired the house from President Roosevelt and presented it to Hunter College as a permanent memorial to the President’s mother and as a symbol of interfaith amity.
