The post of Secretary of Commerce in the Hoover Cabinet has not been offered to him, Julius Rosenwald of Chicago, said when asked whether there was any truth in the report that he was considering a request to serve. Mr. Rosenwald is at the Savoy Plaza Hotel, New York.
“I have not received the slightest intimation from any official source that my services were desired,” Mr. Rosenwald said in response to an inquiry of the “New York Times.”
