The Julius Rosenwald Fund last night announced that it has awarded 37 fellowships for study, research, writing and painting, and other scientific and sociological works.
The awards, which average $1,700 each, went to both men and women. In addition scholarships of $500 plus tuition were given eighteen college seniors to enable them to do graduate work.
