Shepsel Rotholz, Polish Jewish featherweight champion who represented Poland at many international boxing matches, was killed fighting in the Polish campaign, it was learned here.
Rotholz was a member of the Jewish Workers’ Sports Organization “Stern.” He refused to be included in a Polish team which was to meet a German boxing team in Germany in 1934, but was forced to go because he was considered to be the best Polish pugilist in his class.
