The Rothschild House in the Picadilly section of London, residence of the Rothschild family, within the next fortnight will become a club for members of the United Nations, where British and American service men and women will be able to spend their hours of leisure, it was announced here today.
The Rothschild family has donated the house in order to give Americans and other members of the United Nations an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of club life in England. The house was a center of English society. The first ball attended by Edward VII after his accession was given there.
