Hungary’s prospects for an international loan are none too brilliant, it is learned here from well-informed sources.
The Hungarian Government is making every effort to get some money on account of the loan it proposes to float. Without this, it is well-nigh impossible for the stabilization of the krone to be effected.
The Government’s only hope lies in the promise of Sir William Good, the representative of the League of Nations, who, it is said, promised in behalf of the Rothschilds of London the Hungarian Government several million pounds in advance of the actual floating of the loan.
